Dispatch Communications - Product Descriptions

Telephone and Radio Headset Jack Box:

ADC front of Jack Box

ADC back of Jack Box

This headset jack box allows the dispatcher to control both telephone and radio traffic through a single headset. A footswitch can be used for a hands-free operation. The priority switch, on the front panel, allows the dispatcher to manually control whether the headset is on the telephone or radio. When the priority switch is set to the telephone mode, the use of the footswitch or handgrip allows the dispatcher to respond over the radio while the telephone call is on hold. After the radio transmission is finished, the dispatcher will return to the telephone call. The jack box has LED indicators showing the dispatcher which position (telephone or radio) the headset is on. This unit comes with a simultaneous receive feature. This will allow the dispatcher to listen to both the telephone and radio at the same time. Since the headset jack box can accept the standard PJ327 or PL414 connectors, a wide variety of headsets can be used. The use of the Plantronics CA12CD will allow for wireless communication up to 150 feet away.
